Directions to the Charlottesville Hilton Garden Inn in Charlottesville, VA

View Google Map. The Charlottesville Hilton Garden Inn is at 1793 Richmond Road (US 250), Charlottesville, VA 22911, and is approximately 1/2 mile west of Exit 124 on I64.

Directions to the DeMoss Learning Center in Lynchburg, VA

View the Google Map. View the Liberty University map. The DeMoss Learning Center is at 1971 University Blvd, Lynchburg, VA 24502. From US 29 South, turn right at Candlers Mountain Rd., and take the first left onto University Blvd. From the main entrance on University Blvd., go through the first stop sign to the DeMoss building on your right. It is a large, four story building with white columns, easily visible from the road.

From I81 North: Take Exit 245 to Port Republic Rd. Go North (left) on Port Republic Rd. past the I81 southbound exit and turn right onto Bluestone Dr. at the light. After 0.3 miles, turn right at the light onto Carrier Drive. Travel 0.3 miles to the HHS building on the right. Parking is on the left in Lot D2. Parking permits will be available at the D2 lot entrance.

From I81 South: Take Exit 245 to Port Republic Rd. Go North (right) on Port Republic Rd. and turn right onto Bluestone Dr. at the first light. After 0.3 miles, turn right at the light onto Carrier Drive. Travel 0.3 miles to the HHS building on the right. Parking is on the left in Lot D2. Parking permits will be available at the D2 lot entrance.

Directions to Mrs. Rowe's Restaurant and Bakery in Staunton, VA (Rowe's Family Restaurant)

Mrs. Rowe's is at 74 Rowe Rd., Staunton (Augusta County), VA, just ease of I81 off US 250. View the Yahoo Map. Important Note: 74 Rowe Rd. is NOT in downtown Staunton where Google Maps shows it. GPS users can try 74 Brand Station Rd. instead of 74 Rowe Rd. if the Rowe Rd. address doesn't work.

From I64 East: Take Exit 87 to I81 North, stay in the right lane and take Exit 222 to US 250. Turn left (east) onto US 250, travel 0.2 miles and and turn right at the traffic light. Turn right again immediately to take Rowe Road parallel to US 250. Mrs Rowe's is about 500 feet on the left.

From I81: Take Exit 222 to US 250 East, travel 0.2 miles and and turn right at the traffic light. Turn right again immediately to take Rowe Road parallel to US 250. Mrs Rowe's is about 500 feet on the left.

Directions to NRAO Technology Center

The NRAO Technology Center is at 1180 Boxwood Estate Road, Charlottesville VA 22903.

Older GPS will find this at 2551 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA and if all else fails use 38.054095,-78.535599 in Google Maps.

Turn north off of Ivy Road (US 250) onto Boxwood Estate Road at the NRAO-NTC Sign and continue past the white serpentine wall. The tour will start in the penthouse of the multi-story building on the right after the end of the serpentine wall. Park in any of the available lots. Enter the multi-story building at the door to the right of the loading dock and proceed all the way up four flights of stairs to the roof. Exit onto the walkway on the roof and the penthouse conference room is your left at the end of the roof walkway. Take your time on the stairs as this is a mini-workout. If access to the penthouse conference room is a problem, please let me know and we will provide a special tour of the rest of the NRAO. It is just the large conference room on the roof that does not have any elevator/handicap access.

Directions to Starr Hill Brewing Co.

Starr Hill is at 5391 Three Notched Road, Crozet, VA 22932 (Google Maps has this address shown incorrectly)

From I 64 Exit 107, take Rt. 250 (Rockfish Gap Turnpike) about 1 mile east to Rt. 240 (Crozet Ave). Take Rt. 240 north about 2 miles - note that Rt. 240 turns right just past the railroad tracks. Starr Hill Brewing Company is on the right.

Directions to Olsson Hall at UVA in Charlottesville, VA

From 29 North: Take Route 29 south, until it becomes Emmet Street. Continue past Barracks Road and Ivy Road (Rt. 250 business). Continue through the University past the tennis courts and go under a bridge. As Emmet St. curves to the left, take a right onto Stadium Rd. Take this road up the hill and turn right onto Whitehead Rd. (you should be able to see the UVA Stadium on your left). Park in the lot on the right.

From I64/29 South: Take I-64 to exit 118 Route 29 North onto the Route 250 Bypass. Take the first exit for Route 29 business. Turn right onto Fontaine Avenue. Follow this road several miles, through the first light (the street name changes to Jefferson Park Avenue). Stay in the left lane as you approach the second light. Turn left onto Emmet Street and take two immediate lefts onto Stadium Rd. Take this road up the hill and turn right onto Whitehead Rd. (you should be able to see the UVA Stadium on your left). Park in the lot on the right.

To Olsson Hall From the parking lot: follow the sidewalk between Small (on the left) and Olsson (on the right). Enter Olsson Hall from the front. 200-series rooms are up the stairs, 100-series and 000-series rooms are down the stairs.

Directions to Thornton Hall at UVA in Charlottesville, VA

To Thornton Hall From the parking lot: follow the sidewalk past Small (on the left) and Olsson (on the right). Turn right and follow the sidewalk until it ends, then turn left and right into the E-wing of Thornton Hall.

Directions to Veritas Vineyard & Winery

From Charlottesville: I-64 west, exit 107. West on Rt. 250 for 6 miles to Rt. 151. South 3 miles to Rt. 6. West 1.3 miles to Saddleback Farm. Winery entrance will be on your right.

From Staunton: I-64 east to exit 99. East on Rt. 250 for 2.3 miles. Turn right onto Rt. 6 East. Follow two miles to Saddleback Farm. Winery entrance will be on your left.
